Construction Progress

The GO Community Centre is the first of its kind to be built in Canada. Combining innovative partnerships with state of the art design, the GO Centre is landmark project that will be watched by many in the industry.

Design – what will be in the building?

Nine basketball courts, nine volleyball courts, almost 22,000 square feet of gymnastics space and a competition gym with seating for 2800 are the main features of this exceptional building. Amenities will also include fitness equipment, meeting rooms, offices, team rooms, referee rooms and a child care area.

Competition Gymnasium

This full-size, competition gymnasium is equipped to seat 2800. Canadian Interuniversity Sport basketball and volleyball games for both Golden Bear and Panda clubs will be played at the GO Community Centre. This amazing venue will be available to host various special events subject to availability.
