Partners

The GO Community Centre is a partnership among four established community sports organizations: the Edmonton Grads Basketball Centre, Ortona Gymnastics Club, Edmonton Volleyball Centre Society and the University of Alberta. The project harnesses the talents and energy of all partners to address critical issues and to create a prime venue for growth and expansion of recreation and sports opportunities for all people in the Region.

partnerProfile_ortona Ortona Gymnastics ClubFor more than 30 years, the Ortona Gymnastics Club has provided the Edmonton area with exceptional gymnastics programming for all ages and abilities — from recreational and developmental programs to elite training for national, high-performance athletes. The Club relies on a very committed and active volunteer base comprised primarily of the parents and relatives of participating athletes. They also employ a group of very accomplished and accredited coaching staff. True to its legacy, Ortona continues to dominate most regional meets in athlete representation and performance results.
