CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES – Casual

GO Centre & Saville Sports Centre

Evening & Weekends required (5 – 15 hours)

The University of Alberta’s South Campus is home to the GO Centre, Saville Sports Centre and Foote Field. These facilities are multi-sport facilities ranging from recreational to high performance sport development.

Responsibilities for GO Centre and Saville Sports Centre Customer Service Representatives will include: delivering high level customer service, greeting all patrons and confirming membership status/access, responding to patron and general public inquiries regarding memberships, events, policies and the services offered by the GO Centre and the Saville Sports Centre and registering clients in programs, lessons, leagues, etc, and executing related monetary transactions. This position provides considerable administrative support in the day-to-day function of the facility and supports events and tournaments within the facility. In addition, the front desk representative will be responsible for special projects that will be assigned on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

• Standard First Aid (recertified within 2 years), CPR Level C and AED training (recertified annually) is mandatory
• Excellent communication skills and professional attitude
• Administrative skills: email, word processing, cash handling procedures
• Experience with CLASS Facility Software is an asset

Rate of Pay: Saville Sports Centre – $13.83/hr
