Summer Volunteers

Information for Volunteers

Volunteers play an integral role in the fabric of every community. The GO Centre can use your enthusiasm and energy to deliver programs for all ages in your community facility.

GO Partners community-based recreational programs are, first and foremost, intended to provide a positive social experience for young boys and girls with an emphasis placed on good sportsmanship, fun, and exercise. Just complete the form found in the Summer Activities Guide or download it below to express your interest and you will be contacted to be a part of the Volunteer Group for youth at the GO Centre.

Volunteer activities may include: assembling craft projects, assisting with birthday parties, information greeters, becoming a volunteer youth sport league coach and many other postings as the Centre’s programming is developed.

An interview process will be completed to determine alignment of your skills with the needs of the community facility. Current Criminal Records Check and Child Intervention Record will be required prior to becoming a part of our GO Volunteer Team.
